Good Things Take Time (Especially When Permits Are Involved!)

A little update on The Truffle Cheese Shop's reopening

We've been hard at work getting our new home at the historic Evans School ready to welcome you, and we can't wait to open our doors!

Unfortunately, a risk we always knew existed has come up: we learned today that the permitting and licensing process will take longer than we anticipated. As much as we'd love to welcome you into the shop, cut cheese, show off our new space, and share our latest finds, a few necessary items are still pending.

The good news? The cheese hasn't stopped flowing!

While we work through the final steps to officially open our retail space, we're still in business and ready to help with all your cheesy needs.

Here's what you can still count on:

  • Online Orders: Our online shop is open and accepting orders as usual.

  • Special Holiday Orders: Need that special seasonal cheese for a holiday event or family dinner?

  • Cheese & Charcuterie Platters: Hosting a party, bringing something to a gathering, or just treating yourself? We're still making our delicious platters!

  • Events & Experiences: Our events, classes, and other cheese-filled experiences are continuing as planned.

  • Cheese of the Month Club: Still going strong, with two seasonal options in the works.

  • Pickup at Our New Location: You can even pick up your online orders at our new Evans School location! Just place your order ahead of time, and we'll have it ready for you.

One Small Catch (For Now!)

Until our retail licensing is finalized, all purchases and pickup arrangements need to be made online and in advance. We're not quite ready to welcome walk-in shopping or on-the-spot purchases just yet.

We know that's not quite the neighborhood cheese shop experience we're all looking forward to, but it's only temporary!

Thank You for Sticking With Us

Bringing The Truffle back has been an incredible adventure, and the enthusiasm and encouragement we've received from the Denver community have meant the world to us.

We're building something special: a welcoming neighborhood shop where you can discover incredible cheeses, find something delicious for dinner, learn something new, or simply stop by for a little inspiration.

We're just as impatient to open as you are, but we'd rather get everything right than rush the last few steps.

We'll share our official opening date as soon as we have one we can confidently put on the calendar.

In the meantime, keep ordering, keep entertaining, and keep eating great cheese. We're here for all of it!

With gratitude (and plenty of cheese),

The Truffle Cheese Shop Team

P.S. Our new home at the Evans School is looking wonderful, and we can't wait to show you around. Stay tuned!
