Rob and Karin Lawler met in San Francisco in 1997.  Rob was going to culinary school at The California Culinary Academy and Karin was working as a nutrition counselor at Project Open Hand.  Our love of food and people brought us to where we are today.  We love cooking, drinking and meeting new people, which makes owning and running The Truffle Cheese Shop and The Truffle Table dreams for both of us.
